MEET THE TEAM

Behind every project we deliver is a team of over 40 dedicated professionals — from Contracts Directors and Project Managers through to qualified electricians, apprentices and the support staff who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Our operational team includes experienced Contracts Directors, a Contracts Manager, Project Manager and Junior Design Engineer, supported by Qualified Supervisors and a workforce of skilled and approved electricians. Alongside them, our procurement, stores, accounts and compliance teams ensure every contract is resourced, managed and certified to the highest standard.

We're proud to invest in the next generation too — with 10 apprentices currently working and learning across our projects, developing the skills that will carry Wisbech Electrical forward for years to come.

Every member of our team shares the same commitment: to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality electrical contracting that our clients can depend on.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM
Carl Ringwood

Contracts Director

Carl began his career with Wisbech Electrical in 2002 as an apprentice and has built his entire professional life within the business — progressing through the ranks as an Approved Electrician and Site Supervisor before reaching his current position as one of the company's Directors. It's a journey that gives him a genuine understanding of every level of the operation, from the tools in hand on site to the commercial and contractual demands of running major projects.

Much of Carl's career has been spent delivering projects across the UK, spanning both large-scale and smaller electrical installations across the industrial and commercial sectors. His experience covers a wide range of environments — from warehouses and office blocks through to food production facilities — and encompasses everything from simple alterations to existing installations right through to full design-and-build projects managed from RIBA Stage 1 through to completion.

That breadth of experience means Carl is equally comfortable scoping a straightforward maintenance task or overseeing a complex multi-discipline project, always with the same focus on delivering safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Outside of work, Carl enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and travelling — ideally combining all three where possible.

Marcus Ringwood

Contracts Director

Marcus joined Wisbech Electrical in July 2002 as an apprentice — fresh-faced, eager to learn, and with no idea quite how far the journey would take him. Working predominantly in the food manufacturing sector from the outset, he quickly built up hands-on experience in fast-paced, demanding environments, completing his apprenticeship in October 2005.

From there, Marcus never turned down an opportunity to broaden his knowledge or take on greater responsibility. Over the following years he accumulated an impressive project portfolio across new food production facilities for clients including Lamb Weston, Grain D'Or Bakery, Alpro, Charlie Bigham's and 2 Sisters Food Group — each one adding to a depth of sector experience that is difficult to match.

The standout project of that period came in 2017–2018, when Wisbech Electrical secured a £2.4 million multi-temperature packing facility at Alconbury Weald. Acting as Project Supervisor, Marcus played a central role in delivering the entire project in just 17 weeks, managing a workforce of up to 75 engineers at peak. It remains one of the most intense — and most rewarding — chapters of his career, and a clear demonstration of what he is capable of under pressure.

That experience, combined with his progression through every level of the business, led Marcus to his current position as one of Wisbech Electrical's Contracts Directors — a role he brings the same energy, commitment and hands-on understanding to that he has shown throughout his career.

A keen sportsman, Marcus plays cricket, rugby and golf for local teams and is a firm believer in the value of being part of a team — on and off site. If you'd like him on your team for your next project, get in touch.

Roy Pack

Contracts Manager

Roy brings extensive experience in electrical contracting across the food manufacturing and processing industries, with a specialism in delivering reliable, high-quality electrical and process control solutions. His work spans a broad range of industrial environments — from production facilities and automation systems through to process control and associated engineering disciplines — making him a versatile and technically capable member of the Wisbech Electrical management team.

Known for his attention to detail and strong project management skills, Roy takes pride in delivering every contract safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients is central to his approach, and the consistent, dependable results he achieves are a reflection of that commitment.

Outside of work, Roy's passion for engineering extends well beyond the day job. He stays active through fitness training and has an eclectic range of interests that includes cars, motorcycles, shooting sports, kitesurfing and wakeboarding — pursuits that reflect the same focus, discipline and enthusiasm he brings to everything he does professionally.

Aaron Spriggs

Contracts Director

Aaron joined Wisbech Electrical in August 2003 as an apprentice and has spent over two decades building his career within the business, progressing through the ranks to his current position as one of the company's Contracts Directors. It's a journey that has taken him across virtually every environment and sector the company operates in — and that breadth of experience is what makes him such a versatile and dependable member of the leadership team.

At the heart of Aaron's portfolio is a long-standing relationship with Lamb Weston, one of Wisbech Electrical's most valued and longstanding clients. Managing that relationship over the years is a testament to the trust he builds with the people he works with — clients, colleagues and site teams alike. Alongside Lamb Weston, Aaron oversees a wide variety of projects across the local area, spanning commercial, industrial, food production and warehousing environments, handling each with the confidence and ease that only comes from genuine hands-on experience.

What sets Aaron apart within the business is his people skills. Known for his approachable manner, strong customer focus and the relationships he builds with everyone around him, he is held in high regard across the whole team — and it shows in the loyalty of the clients he looks after.

Outside of work, Aaron is a passionate Formula 1 fan and enjoys unwinding on the golf course — though whether he's more competitive watching race day or playing a round is a matter of some debate.

Kevin Oughton

Contracts Director

Kevin joined Wisbech Electrical in November 1997, bringing with him eight years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician with Dalgety/Spillers — now part of the Nestlé group — giving him an invaluable understanding of the food manufacturing environments that remain central to the business today.

Over more than 25 years with the company, Kevin has built an extensive track record across the industrial and commercial sector, overseeing numerous new production line installations and major plant upgrades for some of the UK's leading manufacturers. His technical knowledge, site experience and client relationships have been central to Wisbech Electrical's growth, and he has progressed through the business to his current position as one of the company's Directors.

Kevin is a strong advocate for apprenticeships and takes a personal interest in the development of Wisbech Electrical's apprentice scheme — firmly believing that investing in the next generation is key to the company's continued success. He's also someone who is always looking at how the business can improve, evolve and stay ahead in a competitive industry.

Outside of work, Kevin is a lifelong sports enthusiast who has played and followed a wide variety of sports over the years. He spent time coaching junior football when his children were younger and now enjoys the slightly more relaxed pursuit of golf. Away from the course, Kevin has a creative side too - with a passion for art he modestly describes as "a bit of scribbling." He's also a devoted country music fan who has been known to plan his holidays around catching his favourite artists live.

Ryan Oughton

Project Manager

Ryan's story with Wisbech Electrical is one that has come full circle. He began his career with the company in June 2009 as an Electrical Apprentice, spending five years building a strong foundation in electrical installation, industry standards and safe working practices across a wide range of projects.

In 2014, Ryan made the decision to broaden his horizons, leaving to develop his expertise within the electrical maintenance sector. The years that followed gave him extensive experience in maintenance, fault diagnosis and asset management across a variety of commercial and industrial environments — strengthening both his technical knowledge and his ability to problem-solve under pressure.

In August 2022, he returned to Wisbech Electrical as an Approved Electrician, bringing with him a wealth of additional experience and a fresh perspective. His commitment to quality, teamwork and successful project delivery saw him progress quickly into his current role as Project Manager — responsible for overseeing electrical projects from initial planning through to final completion, ensuring every one is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Having progressed from apprentice to management — with a chapter away and back again — Ryan has a genuinely well-rounded understanding of the business, the industry and what it takes to deliver. He is proud to contribute to Wisbech Electrical's continued growth while supporting clients, colleagues and the next generation of electrical professionals coming through the business.
